The Left’s New Solution: Climate Change LARPing in Denver

Climate Change LARPing (Live Action Role Playing) is now an experience being offered by Control Group Productions, a fully immersive theatrical experience organization based in Lakewood Colorado. Participants can pay $70 to ride on a repurposed school bus and tour abandoned areas of Denver in order to simulate an accelerated version of climate change. The tour allows audience members to experience many of the top-down authoritarian policies yearned for by the left including: lock-downs, curfews, state-imposed rationing, isolating individuals based on their medical data and more.

Anyone who has been paying attention knows the left has used Climate Change and the implications of an impending apocalypse as political leverage for decades now. There have been predictions from the United Nations as far back as 1989 claiming that entire nations would be wiped off the face of the earth due to climate change by the year 2000. Al Gore predicted that the polar ice caps would be completely melted during summer of 2013. In 2004 the Pentagon issued a report to the Bush administration that Britain would experience a siberian-like climate by 2020. Now, as recently as 2019, we have Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez claiming that the world will end in 12 years if we don’t pass her multi-trillion dollar Green New Deal.

Instead of re-evaluating these predictions, the left continues to issue ultimatums of complete economic shutdown or face certain doom. The new solution is to parade around 30 people for 3 hours on a school bus in an already heavily polluted city to pretend as if these predictions have actually come true.

It doesn’t matter whether the world will end 10 years from now or 100 years from now; the left will be trying to convince a subset of the population that it’s going to happen sooner rather than later in order to justify implementing the authoritarian-style government they so deeply crave.
