In a speech on the Senate floor tonight, Colorado Senate Republican Leader Paul Lundeen called for a special legislative session to address the property tax mess that Democrats have created in Colorado.

“I want to be really clear, direct, and pointed – we should put this policy construct aside, vote no, do not pass it, and I call for a special session to actually solve the problem,” Senator Lundeen said in his speech.

After creating the current property tax crisis in Colorado, Democrats are scrambling in the final hours of this year’s legislative session to pass the largest tax increase in Colorado history and end TABOR in the next few years under the guise of property tax relief legislation.

The last minute Democratic shenanigans are so mind boggling that it has members of Colorado’s liberal media asking whether Governor Jared Polis thinks we are all dumb.
