In an interview with Campfire Colorado’s Matt Connelly in Hugo, Colorado on Friday, Congressman Ken Buck said Google is burying Republican fundraising emails in spam filters and making it harder to find the websites for Republican candidates.

“I know your conservative subscribers care about what Google is doing,” said Congressman Buck. “Google has actually taken Republican fundraising emails and buried those in spam filters towards the end of quarters. Not Democrats, but Republicans.”

Google isn’t just burying Republican fundraising emails, but they’re also making it more difficult to find Republican candidates’ websites on Google searches, according to Congressman Buck.

“They have buried Republican campaign websites. Seven out of twelve Republican Senate races – contested Senate races – you can’t find the website for the Republican candidate on Google search. That kind of thought viewpoint bias is hurting American’s decision making and not giving people a fair chance to run for office.”
