Secretary of State candidate Pam Anderson announced new endorsements yesterday from former Congressman Bob Beauprez, Governor Bill Owens and the Independence Institute’s President Jon Caldara.
Caldara explained his support for Anderson saying, “Unlike Hollywood’s Pamela Anderson, Colorado’s Pam Anderson is an elections professional who has decades of experience building and improving elections. She’s not just playing the part of Secretary of State, she has the qualifications and the best chance to win in November.”
Electability seems to be the consistent theme from Secretary of State candidate Anderson’s latest round of endorsements. Beauprez, for example, played up her experience saying “Pam Anderson has the proven experience and integrity to serve Coloradans and rebuild our voter confidence.”
Following his recent endorsement of Republican gubernatorial candidate Heidi Ganahl, Owens spoke directly to Anderson’s ability to win in November saying,“Experience matters. Without a doubt, former Jefferson County clerk Pam Anderson is the most qualified and the only Republican Secretary of State candidate who can beat Jena Griswold in November. If you want a chance to restore voter integrity in Colorado starting in January, Pam is your only choice.”
According to her campaign, Anderson’s complete list of endorsements includes:
Former Governor Bill Owens
Former Congressman Bob Beauprez
Jon Caldara
US Senator Hank Brown
Former Secretary of State Mike Coffman
Former Secretary of State Donetta Davidson
Former Secretary of State Gigi Dennis
