The National Republican Congressional Committee announced today that liberal Colorado Congresswoman Yadira Caraveo will be one of their top targets in the 2024 election cycle.
“Caraveo is a radical who wants to hike our taxes, defund border security, and kill Colorado’s energy industry,” said NRCC Spokeswoman Delanie Bomar. “After just a few short months in Congress, it’s clear she is too extreme for Colorado and the NRCC is ready to remind voters of her real record.”
Caraveo’s 8th Congressional District was a major battleground in the 2022 election and all signs point towards another major battle in 2024.
In fact, Republicans are already running paid media against Caraveo in the 8th Congressional District.
American Action Network recently launched a new $2 million issue advocacy campaign urging Congress to stop Joe Biden’s proposed cuts to Medicare Advantage benefits that would impact 30 million seniors.
In Colorado, they are targeting vulnerable Democratic Congresswoman Yadira Caraveo with a three-week $115,625 media buy on broadcast, digital, and cable advertising.
As national Republicans unite to target the 8th Congressional District, NRCC Chairman Richard Hudson told Campfire Colorado that House Democrats “should be shaking in their boots.”
“Republicans are in the majority and on offense. We will grow our House majority by building strong campaigns around talented recruits in these districts who can communicate the dangers of Democrats’ extreme agenda,” said NRCC Chairman Richard Hudson. “These House Democrats should be shaking in their boots.”
