Left wing extremist attacks Republican office in Fort Collins

By Matt Connelly

In May, left wing extremists attacked a Catholic Church in Fort Collins and broke windows, defaced the building’s doors, and spray-painted pro-abortion messages on the church.

Yesterday in Fort Collins, left wing extremists struck again when they attacked the Larimer Country GOP’s office by breaking the front window with a rock.

Attacks by the militant left in Colorado have been met with condemnation by Republican candidates, but whether it has been attacks against churches or the Christian Life Choices pregnancy center in Longmont, Colorado Democrats have remained totally silent.

In response to the attacks in Fort Collins, Colorado GOP Chair Kristi Burton Brown said, “Sadly, this type of vandalism is par for the course when it comes to the tolerant left’s hypocrisy. Let me be clear: there is no place for violence or intimidation in politics. Our Party and leaders won’t be silenced or cowed by this vandalism. I hope Colorado Democrat Chairwoman Morgan Carroll will join me in publicly condemning this destruction.”

Larimer County GOP Chairman Ron Weinberg said, “The Larimer County Republican Party headquarters was vandalized early Thursday morning. This act of aggression is proof that our volunteers are making a difference, and we will not be intimidated by violent, far-left thugs. The Larimer County Republican Party will continue to promote our Republican candidates and we expect to have outstanding victories come this November.”

No Colorado Democrat has condemned the attack.
