Former Denver Bronco Brandon Stokley torched Colorado governor Jared Polis yesterday when the governor tweeted a “friendly wager” with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis concerning the upcoming NBA finals between the Denver Nuggets and Miami Heat.

“Calling @GovRonDeSantis and @Disney on a friendly wager,” tweeted Polis. “If the @nuggets win the finals against the @MiamiHEAT, Disney World will move to Colorado, the ACTUAL happiest place on earth to do business, have fun, and be free! #ColoradoForAll”

Polis has presided over a dramatic rise in crime during his tenure as governor as well as the massive deterioration of downtown Denver.

A detail not lost on Stokley, who torched the governor with a follow up tweet asking, “how about we just clean up downtown.”

Stokley’s tweet earns the coveted 5 out of 5 fire emoji rating from Campfire Colorado 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

As we also recently reported the last time Polis floated this idea, no one wants a Disney World in Colorado.
