In an interview with Aspen Public Radio that published yesterday afternoon, Colorado’s liberal Secretary of State Jena Griswold suggested that she treats “Democratic leaning counties” differently than the rest of the state.
When asked by the host, “In your role, what are you really proud of, or what do you think you’ve done well to make sure that Colorado is able to have fair and safe and secure elections?”
Griswold responded with a few talking points, but then went off script and said, ““Whether that means intervening in Mesa County, when rogue County Clerk Tina Peters compromised her own voting equipment, to making sure that voters in Democratic leaning counties have elections that they deserve as Colorado citizens.”
You read that correctly.
Jena Griswold suggested that she is only focused on making sure that voters in Democratic leaning counties have the elections “they deserve as Colorado citizens”.
Griswold has been no stranger to electoral funny business while she’s been in office and was exposed recently for being Colorado’s top election denier and spreader of election disinformation.
Additionally, we all remember the traumatizing period a few weeks ago where Coloradans were subjected to watching her and Wayne Williams on tv nonstop in what basically amounted to a campaign ad sponsored by taxpayer dollars.
Campfire Colorado readers will also remember that one of the few good things to come out of that taxpayer funded ad was Pam Anderson’s FIRE video response that TORCHED Griswold:
Speaking of Pam Anderson, she’s been on a roll recently in her campaign to unseat Griswold and even made the cover of TIME magazine’s most recent edition.
