Colorado students wait in the rain while Democrats spend millions on electric buses for “environmental justice”

According to FOX 31 News, a group of Colorado students were forced to wait outside in the rain on Friday night for more than 45 minutes before they were picked up by their school bus.

“Bus driver shortage leaves students stuck in the rain,” reads the headline on their coverage of the story.

While the state’s bus driver shortage has led to situations like this across the state, Colorado Democrats have maintained another focus when it comes to transporting Colorado’s students: $375,000 electric school buses to address “environmental justice”.

Recently, liberal Governor Jared Polis held an event where he touted these costly buses at a time when the state doesn’t even have enough drivers to pick up students:

Not to be outdone, Senator John Hickenlooper took a break from the brewery to hold an event in Durango where he rode around in one of these government funded electric buses:

So, sure, Colorado students are being left outside in the rain for 45 minutes due to a bus driver shortage, but did anyone tell them that Democrats are spending $375k a pop on electric buses for environmental justice?

They should be VERY grateful.
