Liberal activist and soon-to-be former Denver Post columnist Ian Silverii was triggered this morning by Heidi Ganahl’s regular column over at the Gazette.
There’s just one problem – Heidi Ganahl doesn’t have a regular column at the Gazette.
Ganahl’s campaign told Campfire Colorado earlier today, “Heidi’s regular column with the Gazette ended before she launched her campaign for Governor. She is still an avid reader and submits opinion pieces for consideration from time to time.”
The Gazette’s Editorial Page Editor Wayne Laugesen also confirmed to Campfire Colorado that Ganahl is no longer a regular columnist for the paper.
Silverii’s decision to lash out at Ganahl is possibly due to sour grapes over the Denver Post’s recent decision to place a “moratorium” on him due to the “clear conflict” that exists having him write at the paper while his wife simultaneously runs for Congress.
Campfire Colorado was the first to report that Silverii will be out at the Denver Post after the primary on June 28th, 2022.
