Capitol Police have an important question for Sen. John Hickenlooper: who are you?

U.S. Capitol Police apparently had no clue who 2020 presidential candidate and Colorado Senator John Hickenlooper was when he attempted to enter the U.S. Senate this morning:

Witnessed Capitol Police ask @SenatorHick — a former 2020 presidential candidate — for his staff ID as we both walked into the Senate this morning.

"Hickenlooper. Colorado," he told the officer. Was good-humored about it.
