A new Jared Polis ad bizarrely features his sneakers but not fentanyl deaths or crime. Why is that?

By Matt Connelly

Governor Jared Polis has released a new ad touting his blue sneakers, but the ad fails to mention Colorado’s crime wave and massive problem with deadly drugs like fentanyl. Why is that?

Well, mainly because Jared Polis is responsible for both of those problems, that’s why.

Polis was inducted into The Gazette’s Fentanyl Hall of Shame due to his 2019 law decriminalizing hard drugs like fentanyl and helping to drive up crimes of all types across Colorado.

Politicians often live in their own bizarre bubbles separated from reality and this sneaker ad is a prime example of that phenomenon. We hate to break it to Governor Polis and his highly paid ad team, but no one cares about the Governor’s blue sneakers, the whole thing comes of as bizarre, and no one outside your tiny circle is even aware that the guy likes to wear sneakers with a suit like a child.
