SGLF Releases Ad on the “Tale of Two Americas”

By Matt Connelly

This week, the State Government Leadership Foundation (SGLF), the policy partner of the Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC), launched a national ad campaign with an ad buy of over $200,000; the ad will appear on digital platforms and targets Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, and Washington.

The ad contrasts the “Tale of Two Americas,” and states that “Liberal failures are hurting Americans. Conservative ideas are moving us forward.”

Dee Duncan, the Executive Director of SGLF, told the Washington Examiner that, “The failed policies we are seeing from Washington, D.C., being emulated in liberal states across the country are the reason the cost of living is skyrocketing, violent crime is on the rise, and our children are not reaching their full potential.”

He also emphasized that “a woke America is proving to be a weak America, and the only way we can course correct and move forward again is to follow the blueprint of conservative states across the country and the commonsense ideas they are advancing.”

In March, the RLC Colorado one of their top legislative targets for the 2022 elections and released a video ad targeting Democrats for their energy policies, backed by a five-figure digital ad buy.
