In interviews earlier this week to celebrate the launch of Campfire Colorado, NRSC Chairman Rick Scott and NRCC Chairman Tom Emmer both loudly praised conservative media outlets for playing a vital role in pushing back against Democrats and their efforts to silence conservatives.
“Here’s what I like about conservative media,” said NRSC Chairman Rick Scott. “They tell the truth. They want to set the record straight. They want to hold all of us who get elected accountable. They want to do it in a manor that’s fair.”
NRCC Chair Tom Emmer wasn’t afraid to get partisan about Democrats’ efforts to silence conservative voices in media and in Congress.
“I think it’s important we have conservative media that’s going to get the truth out.”

“We’ve got this leadership in Washington and at our state level – and I’m going to be very partisan about this,” said Chairman Emmer. “Democrats that try to silence our voice any chance they get. Whether it’s big tech, whether it’s in the halls of Congress, they try to shut us down so we can’t have a voice.”
Senator Scott and Congressman Emmer both strongly emphasized that conservative media would continue to play a vital role in setting the record straight in today’s most important political debates.
“This is why now perhaps more than at any time in our history, we’ve got to have alternative sources for our information, and quite frankly conservative – honest –conservative sources in my opinion are the best,” Congressman Emmer declared when discussing the value of conservative media.
“I think it’s important we have conservative media that’s going to get the truth out,” said Senator Scott.
