Denver Post on 9News Shooter: “Colorado law should not give a free pass to those who kill.”

The Denver Post editorial board is out with an editorial this morning  that says the man employed by 9News in Colorado who shot Lee Keltner in the head in should not have been given a ‘free pass’.

The murder case against 9News security guard Matthew Doloff was recently dropped by the Denver District Attorney’s Office.

Denver Post Editorial Excerpt:

“These four victims all made mistakes, and our intent is not to portray them here as flawless individuals, however, their actions did not deserve the death penalty.

It’s not long before these cases applied to other hypothetical situations start to get uncomfortable.

Colorado law should not give a free pass to those who kill.”
