Hank Brown, former U.S. Senator (R-CO), says Colorado is ripe for new leadership and is endorsing Heidi Ganahl, the person he says current Governor Jared Polis does NOT want to face.
“Heidi is a fighter. She’s overcome adversity stronger than anything Polis can throw at her. She doesn’t just talk about making change, she gets results. Like me, she has experience in a variety of areas that need drastic help in our state.
In education, as a CU Regent, Heidi helped pass a resolution restoring American civics education. She pushed back against the idea of using critical race theory in policy and hiring practices. She fought for free speech and led the effort to rid the campus of safe spaces. And she worked tirelessly to lower the cost of a college education and fought back against mandates during Covid. We need a leader who will make sure our kids’ schools focus on fundamentals like math and English and champions true school choice.
In business, as an entrepreneur, Heidi turned a small business into the country’s largest petcare franchise. She can relate to so many of you facing financial struggles from COVID because she fought through the great recession of 2008. We need a leader who will lower taxes, cut the government red tape and make Colorado business friendly again.”
44 percent of Colorado’s registered voters are unaffiliated. Brown insists we need a gubernatorial candidate that has a message that will “resonate with Conservatives” as well as with unaffiliated voters.
Governor Polis just disclosed that he has spent almost 6M dollars on this election. He spent almost 24 million on his first gubernatorial campaign. Candidate contributions aside, Ganahl has raised more than Polis.
Brown said that in order to take on the crippling inflation Polis’ far-left policies are fueling, a crime rate that is getting worse by the day, and an education system that is failing our kids, the Republican candidate will have to actually win.
“That’s why I’m throwing my support behind Heidi Ganahl – the candidate who has already beaten liberals and can win again,” Brown said.
