Bobbie Daniel Clears the Field at Mesa County Republican Party Assembly

By Matt Connelly

Rising Colorado Republican star Bobbie Daniel had a major victory in her campaign to be Mesa County’s next commissioner for District 2 this past weekend at the Mesa County Republican Party Assembly.

“I am incredibly honored to have the support of Mesa County Republicans as we move forward in 2022,” Daniel told Campfire Colorado Tuesday morning in an exclusive interview. “I want to thank my family, friends, volunteers, and team for all their support and encouragement. Our county has a bright future. I look forward to listening first and serving our community.”

According to the Grand Junction Daily Sentinel, “Mesa County Assessor Ken Brownlee fell short of the 30% threshold needed to get onto the Republican Party’s primary ballot for Mesa County commissioner District 2 during the Mesa County Republican Party Assembly over the weekend.

As a result, Republican Bobbie Daniel not only is the only person running for that nomination in the June primary, but she’s also the only candidate in the general election in November.”
