The political analysts at Sabato’s Crystal Ball have shifted their ratings of Colorado’s 7th Congressional District from “Likely Democratic” to “Leans Democratic” and changed Colorado’s 8th Congressional District from “Toss Up” to “Leans Republican.”

The ratings shifts are both a very positive sign for Barb Kirkmeyer’s campaign in CD-8 and Erik Aadland’s campaign in CD-7.

In response to the ratings shift, NRCC regional press secretary Courtney Parella told Campfire Colorado, “President Biden’s failed agenda that’s led to soaring inflation is ending any chance Democrats had of winning in Colorado.”
